Custom Ultra Low-Profile Reaction Torque Sensor

Ultra-Low Profile. Ultra-High Precision.

The QTA158 is a custom reaction torque sensor engineered for embedding directly into robotic joint drive systems, where space is tight and performance can’t be compromised. Its through-hole, low-profile form factor integrates seamlessly into strain wave (harmonic) gear assemblies, delivering accurate closed-loop torque feedback for precision motion control without adding inertia or bulk to the joint.

Built with an aluminum flexure for strength without added weight, and rated to perform reliably across a wide temperature range and in high-vibration environments, the QTA158 is well suited for high-volume OEM robotic and cobot applications where functional safety and responsiveness in human-robot collaboration are critical. Custom configurations are available to match specific joint and gear assembly requirements.
