GENON has announced that it successfully concluded its participation in AI EXPO KOREA 2026, where the company unveiled its expanded vision for Physical AI and next‑generation AI agents.
Under the exhibition theme “Move ON Into the Real”, GENON demonstrated how generative AI is evolving beyond digital assistance to operate directly in physical environments and interact naturally with people. Building on its enterprise‑grade generative AI platform, the company showcased new advancements that extend into AI agents and humanoid robotics.
A major highlight of the booth was the debut of GenP, a senior‑care‑focused humanoid robot developed in collaboration with KB Financial Group. Revealed publicly for the first time, GenP performed a live demonstration simulating a real‑world care scenario, including identifying and safely grasping a medicine bottle required by a senior.
The demonstration emphasised precise finger‑joint control, a critical capability for delicate tasks in senior‑care environments. GenP interpreted its surroundings, recognised the target object, and adjusted its grip strength and orientation to complete the task reliably. The humanoid also engaged in simple conversational interactions designed to support health monitoring and emotional wellbeing. Through this showcase, GENON highlighted the practical potential of humanoid‑based senior‑care solutions and outlined plans to expand both direct and indirect care capabilities.
GENON also introduced GenA, an integrated AI agent portal designed for both enterprise and individual users, and presented its AX (AI Transformation) roadmap, which connects Actionable AI to Physical AI through the company’s upgraded generative AI platform GenOS 2.0.
Throughout the exhibition, GENON hosted a series of mini‑seminars that drew strong interest from attendees. CEO Seok‑Tae Ko delivered a session titled “GenOS 2.0: The Future of Generative AI as Envisioned by GENON”, outlining the industry’s shift toward an AI‑agent‑centric ecosystem. CTO Dae‑Woo Myung followed with “GENON’s Physical AI Technology Roadmap and Physical Ops Strategy”, detailing the technical and operational foundations required for Physical AI commercialisation.
Following the event, GENON announced plans to accelerate its transition from a generative AI platform provider to a comprehensive AI company spanning Actionable AI and Physical AI. Leveraging its humanoid and AI agent technologies, the company aims to drive AI adoption across senior care, finance, industrial automation and other sectors, while expanding its presence in global markets.
