NEURA Robotics, a pioneer and technology leader in cognitive robotics, announces the acquisition of ek robotics – one of the most experienced specialists in driverless transport systems (AGV/AMR) worldwide. NEURA thus gains over 300 employees, more than 60 years of experience, and a strong customer base from ek robotics, significantly expanding its expertise in the field of mobile robotics.
A new boost for mobile robotics
This step combines the strengths of both companies:
• NEURA brings its own mobile robotics solutions and a strong order book to the structures of ek robotics. This creates the basis for the company to implement existing customer orders faster and more efficiently.
• ek robotics will continue to implement high-performance intralogistics solutions with its proven product portfolio. Existing customer service will remain unchanged and will be further expanded in cooperation with NEURA Robotics. At the same time, NEURA will integrate innovations and cognitive technologies into the ek robotics portfolio to further develop its products and jointly lead them back to the top of the industry.
• By integrating them into Neuraverse, all systems become part of a globally unique platform that connects robots, enables them to learn, and thus continuously improves them.
Globalization and growth
While ek robotics has previously had a strong presence primarily in Europe, NEURA’s global sales network opens new market opportunities for the AGV specialist. NEURA’s own locations in China and the US, as well as close industry partnerships, create the basis for accelerating joint growth in the long term.
