Jérôme Monceaux, Co-Founder & CEO, Enchanted Tools
As CEO of Enchanted Tools, he’s steering the company to build humanoid, character-like robots such as Mirokaï with compelling designs, expressive personality, and useful interaction capabilities. The goal is to deploy these robots in healthcare, retail, hospitality, etc., to do tasks like logistical assistance, companionship, navigation, while ensuring safety, usability, and emotional appeal. He is also the founder of SPooN.ai and formerly served as Executive Vice President and Chief Creative Officer at Softbank Robotics Europe. Monceaux believes that technology can help solve humanity’s greatest challenges and bring a sense of wonder into everyday life.
Learn MoreNEURA Robotics
NEURA Robotics, a high-tech company founded in 2019 by David Reger in Metzingen, Germany, is pioneering the industrialization of cognitive robotics. The company’s purpose-driven vision is to close the gap between technology and humanity. NEURA Robotics pursues a consistent one-device approach, creating products such as the 4NE1 humanoid robot, which is essentially a “smartphone with arms and legs” that integrates all components for Physical AI and sets new standards for precision and safety in collaborative environments. Its technology is powered by the Neuraverse, a global ecosystem for embodied artificial intelligence. The Neuraverse enables continuous learning and scalable capabilities across its industrial and service product range, allowing robots to work seamlessly and safely alongside human teams.
Learn MoreNADIA – IHMC
The Institute for Human & Machine Cognition (IHMC) is a not-for-profit research institute of the Florida University System. At IHMC, they have developed Nadia, a hydraulic humanoid robot designed to serve as a new platform for research in locomotion and control. Researchers at IHMC developed Anticipatory and Adaptive Footstep Streaming for Teleoperated Bipedal Robots. It retargets user steps to robot footstep locations, allowing the robot to utilise its own dynamics for locomotion, ensuring better balance and stability. The method anticipates user footsteps to minimise delays between when the user initiates and completes a step and when the robot does it. Additionally, the system autonomously adjusts the robot’s steps to account for its surrounding terrain, overcoming challenges posed by environmental mismatches between the user’s flat-ground setup and the robot’s uneven terrain.
Learn MoreWandercraft – Calvin-40
Wandercraft’s Calvin-40 is built at human scale and voice-operated to tackle physically demanding and hazardous tasks in factory settings. Developed in just 40 days, it’s built on the strength of Wandercraft’s exoskeleton experience. Calvin-40 uses force sensors in its feet, day/night cameras, and multilayer visual/auditory safety systems to maintain balance, perceive its environment, and interact safely with humans. Its “headless” form factor places sensors low for better visibility of tools and surfaces, and the robot is controlled with medical-grade software for reliability and operator safety.
Learn MoreMacco Robotics
Macco Robotics’ humanoid, KIME the bartender, leverages AI in several ways to ensure efficient service: it uses computer vision to precisely measure and monitor liquid levels when pouring beverages, ensuring consistent results with every drink. It’s also equipped with facial recognition and a touch-screen interface, allowing it to recognize returning customers or process cashless payments (for example, identifying a patron’s age for alcohol service.) KIME not only improves efficiency but also provides an engaging, tech-savvy experience for customers.
